After the incendiary attack to a caravan of forestry trucks, perpetrated in Tirua, at the province of Arauco, the president of the National Federation of Forestry Transportation, Heriberto López, blamed to the Government because of its passivity facing this problem.

Regarding to the woman who resulted injured because of the attack, López expressed his concern for the violence used in the attacks, considering that in the future could cost a life.

Therefore, is waiting to have a meeting with the representative of the International Labor Organization in Santiago, to inform him about the risks and dangers the workers face, when this incidents happen.

The leader, reiterated that the government should toughen its position to brake this kind of acts or they will continue, more and more aggressives.

On his behalf, Hernesto Camaño, the injured driver, was transfered to the Hospital of Cañete. The man assured that the aggressors were using bulletproof vests.

Camaño, also frightened due to the attack, made a call to the Government to increase the protection measures, because the group of Carabineros, who were guarding the caravan was not enough to repel the attack.
