An economic group related to the tycoon Carlos Slim, would be interested to acquire 25% of the shares belonging to Cruzados SADP, concessionaire in charge of Catholic University (UC).

The transaction would be handled by Pachuca Group, that currently controls Football Clubs as Pachuca and León, in Mexico, together with the Carso group, property of Slim. According to Economía & Negocios, they would pay 6 million dollars for 25% of UC’s shares.

The intentions of Pachuca Group, have been confirmed by its president, Jesús Martínez, according to the MexicanESTO.

On its behalf, Carso Group has invested in the Spanish Football Club, Real Oviedo (second division), and its owner, Carlos Slim, is the fourth richest man in the world, according to Forbes.
