El pasado viernes, en la noche, la cantante estadounidense Alecia Beth Moore, conocida como “Pink”, reveló en redes sociales que contrajo el nuevo coronavirus junto a su hijo hace 14 días. Si bien ambos se recuperaron, la artista instó al gobierno de su país a llevar a cabo más pruebas.

“Mi hijo de 3 años y yo tuvimos síntomas de covid-19. Afortunadamente, nuestro médico de cabecera tuvo acceso a las pruebas y di positivo”, indicó.

En este punto, Pink instó al régimen de Donald Trump a realizar esfuerzos por poner a disposición de la población pruebas que sean gratuitas y más accesibles.

“Es un absurdo y fracaso absoluto de nuestro gobierno el no hacer las pruebas ampliamente más accesibles. Tenemos que hacer pruebas gratuitas y más accesibles para proteger a nuestros hijos, nuestras familias, nuestros amigos y nuestras comunidades”, escribió.

Por último,la norteamericana realizó un severo llamado a la población a cuidarse, indicando que el nuevo Covid-19 es una enfermedad “que no discrmina”.

“El virus afecta a los jóvenes, los mayores, los sanos y los enfermos, los ricos y los pobres y el público tiene que ser consciente del riesgo”, concluyó.

Cabe señalar que Estados Unidos pasó a ser el centro de la pandemia durante las últimas semanas. Actualmente el país tiene más de 277 mil casos de contagios, de los cuales 7.400 han muerto y 12.200 se recuperaron.
