The Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (PUC) and the University of Chile, have entered to the ranking of the 200 universities of best employability of the world; evaluation elaborated by the QS consulting.

QS is a British consulting about education, who measured to the universities around the world and is one of the most prestigious on this field. The measuring is a thorough analysis of the educational institutions based on differents areas and is made every year.

Now, for the first time, they elaborated a ranking focussed on the universities ‘employability based on two aspects : the employment level and the prestige as workers, when the graduates enter to the labor market.

On the list, the PUC is at the 50th place, scoring 59,2 of a total of 100. Positioning itself among the region’s leading institutions in the third place of Latin America. Behind the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education from Mexico (21th worldwide) and the Brazilian University of Sao Paulo (44 th worldwide).

On his behalf, the University of Chile is located among the 101-150 rank with a score of 39.7. ( Passing the 50 first places, the institutions do not receive an specific number, and are only put in ranges)
