VALPARAÍSO, CHILE – The Last earthquake doesn´t leave anyone indifferent due to its massive impact which resulted in devastation and calamity.

Misfortune that Lucas Retamales has lived by his own. A blind surfer of the Valparaiso´s region who was preparing himself to participate of the ISA World Adaptive Surfing Championship 2015, which will be celebrate in the United States.

But the quake changed completely his future and his plans. This for the tsunami which devastated Concón coast and as a result the 15-year-old surfer loosed his sports’ equipment, including his suits and surfboard.

After the tsunami he walked with his mother through “La Boca” beach hopping to find part of his gear, without any results.

Later his story was knew for many people thanks to the social networks and TV media, and the philanthropic Leonardo Farkas himself through his twitter account gave to Lucas a beautiful surprise: “Please tell to the blind surfer Lucas Retamales that I´m going to deposit him the million pesos he was asking for. Good luck in the Championship!”

Farkas kindness means to Lucas buy his equipment to participate of this long-awaited tournament and the opportunity to demonstrate his talent and professionalism.
