The US dollar closed this Thursday with an increase of 1.24 percentage points, reaching 683 Chilean pesos, its highest price in the latest three weeks.

This is the highest upward of the American currency since last September 22. The change emerged due to the strong fall of the copper prices at the London Metal Exchange, according to Diario Financiero.

The red metal ended the day scoring US$2.1387 per pound. This is the fourth consecutive fall.
