La película “Carol”, protagonizada por Cate Blanchett y Rooney Mara, lideró con cinco candidaturas las nominaciones a los Globos de Oro, anunciadas este jueves en Los Ángeles.
La comedia “The Big Short”, el biopic “Steve Jobs” y “El Renacido”, el último film del cineasta mexicano Alejandro González Iñárritu, competirán cada una en cuatro categorías.
“Carol” y “El Renacido” se enfrentarán con “Mad Max: Furia en el camino”, “Room” y “Spotlight” por el galardón a Mejor película dramática. “El Renacido” también dio candidaturas a su director y su protagonista, Leonardo DiCaprio.
El actor buscará el triunfo frente a Bryan Cranston (“Trumbo”), Michael Fassbender (“Steve Jobs”), Eddie Redmayne (“The Danish Girl”) y Will Smith (“Concussion”).
Blanchett y Mara se disputarán el trofeo a Mejor actriz dramática junto a Brie Larson (“Room”), Saoirse Ronan (“Brooklyn”) y Alicia Vikander (“The Danish Girl”).
“The Big Short”, “Joy”, “The Martian”, “Spy: Una espía despistada” y “Trainwreck” se jugarán a su vez el premio a Mejor película de comedia.
La chilena “El Club”, del director Pablo Larraín, entró en competición a Mejor película extranjera junto a “The Brand New Testament” (Bélgica, Francia, Luxemburgo), “The Fencer” (Finlandia, Alemania, Estonia), “Mustang” (Francia) y “Son of Saul” (Hungría).
Los Globos de Oro también reconocieron la serie dramática de Netflix “Narcos” y su protagonista, el brasileño Wagner Moura, encargado de interpretar al narcotraficante Pablo Escobar.
El mexicano Gael García Bernal fue asimismo nominado a Mejor actor de comedia en televisión por “Mozart In The Jungle”, también en liza. Por su parte, la premiada película chilena El Club de Pablo Larraín fue nominada a Mejor Película Extranjera.
La ceremonia de entrega de los Globos de Oro se celebrará el domingo 10 de enero en Los Ángeles a partir de las 17H00 locales (01H00 GMT del lunes).
