Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela and Chile, achieved an agreement to purchase together cheaper medicines to international laboratories.

Last week the countries signed this agreement which establishes the procedure of negotiation with the biggest pharmaceuticals of the world.

The undersecretary of Public Health, Jaime Burrows, pointed out that this agreement will allow to the State the saving of thousand million pesos in the purchase of medicines for the HIV.

It´s about an international policy which is supported by the WHO, and regarding to this point, their representative in Chile, Roberto del Águila, assured that the next step imply join together the countries who are members of the Unasur to make this purchase as a block.
