The restraint of the hospitalary debt has complicated the Congress discussion related to the budget for 2016. In particular to the health issue, where its estimate has been qualified by the parlamentarians as insufficient.

According to El Mercurio, the same parlamentarians have negotiated with the Finance Minister, Rodrigo Valdés, a supplement of 232 million dollars, additional to the originals 160.000 million pesos, destinated to mitigate the debt.

From that amount, are going to be used 70 million dollars directly to the current debt amortization. Which in August was placed in 246.000 million pesos, while the rest of the money would be used to absorve the costs of the coming months.

The Health Minister, Carmen Castillo, did already anticipated when she was interpellated, that it had been expected finishing the year with a debt of 150.000 million pesos.
