“The Celac presidency is incompatible by using the instance to spread particular interests”. This was what the Chilean agent José Miguel Insulza pointed out, facing the accusations of the Bolivian vice president, Álvaro García Linera, who assured that Chile is trying to block their possibility to preside over the Celac.

Insulza denied Chilean intentions of obstruction to other country, and explained that is about an intention of rotation. As well as he criticized the intention of use a multilateral space to treat a bilateral issue.

This situation is happening days before the referendum to decide the continuation of Evo Morales as president of the Altiplanic nation. Which has been scheduled for February 21th.
