When a piece of clothing transports you back to a certain time in your life. These @monsoon military jackets, and their insanely cute mini-me versions, take me back to the days where I'd dance the night away to The Libertines and The Strokes, wishing that I was cool enough to be Julian Casablancas' girlfriend. I never managed to nab him, but I did get Boy Dom, so…. 😉 Do you have any items of clothing that take you back? Or better still, who was your crush in your early 20s? #allthatisthree #ad #monsoon
Sometimes you need a few days away. A few days spent with messy hair, in comfy clothes, eating food, riding bikes, and away from your phone (only dropping in to post an #allthatisthree 😉). Time spent just hanging with these two, Boy Dom and friends. This weekend has been that. Aaaahhh 😌☺️ #allthatisthree Check shirts c/o @tinycottons
There's a new craze in the world of kids. Every night these two scientists take over my kitchen, turn it into their lab, raid my kitchen cupboards, and make their very own….slime (usually adding glitter to *really* maximise the mess 😉🙄) . Anybody else experiencing this? When I was a kid it was all about Pogs – a game where you'd hit two circular pieces of card with a 'slammer' in the hope of turning them both over (riveting stuff 😉). What was the craze when you were a kid? #allthatisthree
The girls are both starting their new schools this week, and I'm not sure who's more excited about it (here's a clue…it's me 😉). A bit of a dragged through the hedge backwards look for #allthatisthree this week. It kind of resembles how I look and feel after a busy, non-stop summer 😂. Autumn is for relaxing, right?
Yesterday, while in Liverpool city centre, we saw girls shopping with rollers in their hair (commitment to voluminous hair here is strong 💪🏻💁🏻). Being the daughter of a hairdresser, hair rollers would give me hours of entertainment as a kid. Rolling up my hair, my doll's hair, my friend's hair, my dog's hair – usually resulting in a tangled mess 🙈. The hairdressing flair obviously didn't pass down to me. What weird items did you find entertainment in as a child? #allthatisthree
The plan was to stay up late with the kids in the hope of seeing the Perseid meteor shower, but after a day of partying, friends, bouncy castles and cake, it didn't quite turn out that way (Penny didn't make it past 7 pm). So, instead, Dom and I lay in bed, opened the blinds, and watched. Thanks to a break in the clouds we managed to see two! *squeal* Who stayed up to watch it? What did you see? #allthatisthree Our hand-painted galaxy jumpers are c/o @wearehairypeople, and they've kindly offered you guys 20% off your next order if you use allthatisthree20. I realised last week that we'd missed the one year mark of our #allthatisthree series (I thought it had started in July when actually it was in June). So, here's our one year anniversary post (a whole 6 weeks late). Happy birthday #allthatisthree! 🎉🎈 I wonder; can we go for another year? What will the next year of images look like? And how long until my bed is free of glitter stars? 😂
Two weeks ago we were in The Alps, enjoying the views, and over-indulging on the French food (particularly the 'chocolat blanc' bread – I'm still dreaming about that stuff). Today, I'm lying on the sofa, in my pj's, looking out the window to nothing but rain, and trying to muster up the energy to make something that's nutritious enough to be classed as tea (crisps and toast? 😉). I think it's time for another trip to @clubmedvalmorel – who's with me? #allthatisthree In partnership with @clubmed #clubmed #clubmedvalmorel
