Galvarino Apablaza, accused of murdering jaime Guzmán, lives in Argentina as political refugee, for more than ten years, and since 2010 the Chilean Government has been negotiating his extradition, to be judged in the country.

For this reason, the coming days will be crucial, because the Government of Mauricio Macri, will deliver its appeal to the Argentine Justice, to decide if they maintain or not the status of Apablaza.

Regarding to this, Juan Antonio Coloma (UDI), assured that the case of Apablaza has been succesful administratively talking, because the Chilean Justice was who requested his extradition and not a political party.

Additionally, Coloma, has stated that the Chilean tribunals have the rights to judge the crimes perpetrated in the country, despite of that in this particular case, many years have passed.
