The president of the Central Bank, Rodrigo Vergara, refered about the economy repercussions.

On the context of the “Economic Perspectives Seminar for 2016″, Vergara sustained that “unfortunately all our projections and also de Market ones are showing that the inflation is going to return to levels over 4% in the coming month, becoming a constant during 2016″.

However he indicated that “the expectations are maintained absolutly anchored to our goal of 3%”.

At the same time Vergara pointed out that the economic situation will be influenced by the international context due to the increase of the interest rate in the long term of United States, the reduction of costs of the raw materials and the situation of the countries which are commercial partners of Chile on the exportation context.
