Two partnerships in Panama has the ex president Sebastián Piñera, according to information provided by the Public Register of the Central American country.

The firms are Chine Investments, created in 1984, and International Card Systems, created in 1985. Both companies were founded to make business activities abroad.

On the first partnership, Sebastián Piñera figures as the president, while his wife, Cecilia Morel, appears like the secretary, and her brother Pablo officiates as treasurer.

Regarding to the second offshore company, International Card Systems, the ex-president acts as director and secretary. In addition, Ignacio Guerrero and Juan Diego del Río, are part of the board of directors.

The partnerships would have not been created with the legal counseling of Mossack Fonseca, but with the services of Icaza, González-Ruiz & Alemán. A juridical studio that is not involved in the financial scandal.
