OSORNO, CHILE – Parliamentary member Fidel Espinoza (PS) arrived at Osorno´s police prefecture in order to bring an accusation against Andres Rosas, a policeman and current servant of the Entre Lagos Precinct.

The action took place as a result of the statements that Rosas expressed through Social Networks, using vulgar and violent terms against Michelle Bachelet’s government and Chilean political institutions and even human rights organizations.

According to Espinoza, his behavior “cannot be allowed in this institution, and it is not consistent with the moderate attitude that every member of this institution should hold.”

The congressman explained that everything came to light as the result of a letter that he received from Rosas´ ex-wife, describing the constant mistreatment she had suffered at his hand. At the same time, a request for help from other female relatives of Rosas due to his menacing behavior was also received.

Parliament concluded that this kind of conduct, in which the government and other institutions of the country are insulted, must be exhaustively investigated.
