The undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, Edgardo Riveros, is fulfilling an intense agenda in Hungary, where he met with the Hungarian parliament’s vice president, János Latorcai.

After the encounter, Riveros moved to the Chilean Chancellery in Hungary, to hold a meeting with the vice minister of Foreign Affairs of the mentioned country, Lázló Szabó, with the purpose of broaching over the main aspects of the bilateral relation.

The diplomats talked about the international economic relations, especially the exports from Chile to Hungary, which grew a 118% during 2015. They also emphasized on the cooperative potential of advanced human capital that can be explored between the two nations.

After the meeting, the authorities subscribed the Working Holiday accord, that will be implemented this year, after all the legal and administrative proceedings that are required are met.

The purpose of this reciprocal agreement is to encourage travel and cultural exchange between their citizens. The working holiday visa is a residence permit that will allow travellers to undertake employment in the country issuing the visa pay for their travel expenses.
