’Shortlist’ de los Premios Oscar 2026: estas son las primeras películas en carrera

Este martes se conoció la primera lista corta (‘shortlist’) de los Premios Oscar 2026, al menos en 12 categorías.

La Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas de Hollywood dio a conocer las películas que, al menos preliminarmente, están en carrera por la estatuilla, en secciones como Mejor Película Internacional, Mejor Documental, Mejor Cortometraje Documental, Mejor Banda Sonora, Mejor Canción y Mejor Cortometraje Animado, entre otras.

Con miras a la ceremonia número 98, que se celebrará el próximo 15 de marzo en el tradicional Dolby Theatre (Los Angeles, EE.UU), el avance permite dilucidar cómo será la lista definitiva de nominados a los Oscar 2026.

Shortlist: Hispanoamérica en los Premios Oscar 2026

En lo que respecta a Sudamérica, Brasil y Argentina se ilusionan con las películas ‘El Agente Secreto’ y ‘Belén’, respectivamente, en la carrera por levantar la estatuilla a Mejor Película Internacional.

El filme de suspenso histórico, escrito y dirigido por el director brasileño Kleber Mendonça Filho, también aspira a una nominación en el nuevo apartado de estos premios dedicado al casting, junto a otros nueve títulos como ‘One Battle After Another’, ‘Wicked: For Good’ o ‘Frankenstein’.

La película española ‘Sirat’, del director franco-gallego Oliver Laxe, marcó presencia en cinco categorías, incluyendo ‘Mejor película internacional, ‘Mejor banda sonora’ y ‘Mejor sonido’.

Las nominaciones definitivas a los Premios Oscar 2026 se conocerán el próximo 22 de enero.
