La legendaria banda británica Queen se convirtió el lunes en el primer grupo de rock que es homenajeado con una moneda de coleccionista, que incluye todos los instrumentos de sus componentes, incluido el piano de su difunto cantante Freddie Mercury.

Queen, “una de las bandas de rock más emblemáticas de todos los tiempos”, inaugura así una serie de monedas dedicadas a las leyendas de la música, informó la Real Casa de la Moneda.

En el diseño de la moneda figuran los instrumentos de cada uno de los miembros fundadores del grupo: la guitarra de Brian May, el bajo de John Deacon, la batería de Roger Taylor y el piano de Freddie Mercury, cuyas teclas tocan notas del principio de su popular canción Bohemian Rhapsody.

The Royal mint of great Britain has announced the release of a new commemorative coin in honor of the legacy of one of the most beloved British bands.⠀ The coin is issued as a token of respect to all four Queen musicians, depicting each of their instruments and their respective contributions to the band.⠀ In the center of the coin is the band's logo, which is highlighted by the image of Freddie mercury's signature microphone stand.⠀ The commemorative coin (the first from the Royal mint's "Legends of music" collection) will be available in gold and silver versions.
