A días de la innovadora acción de arte de Banksy en Londres, cuando hizo que uno de sus cuadros se “autodestruyera” luego de ser subastado en más de un millón de libras (más de 770 millones de pesos), el tema sigue causando controversia en internet.

En Instagram, donde el artista publicó un video donde explica cómo efectuó el truco (mediante un sistema de control remoto), la secuencia del “making off” supera las 11 millones de reproducciones al mismo tiempo que la popularidad del artista se incrementa en redes sociales.

Sin embargo, casi una semana después, la intervención artística continúa mutando ahora a través público. Esto, luego que la secuencia se convirtiera en meme gracias al ingenio de los usuarios de internet, quienes han reemplazado el dibujo de Banksy por distintas imágenes que, tal como (Girl with Balloon), se van triturando a medida que caen.

Obras de arte, banderas, celebridades, vegetales y hasta selfies, todo es triturable en el meme de Banksy. El domingo, por ejemplo, con el triunfo de Bolsonaro en las elecciones presidenciales de Brasil, una de los primeros memes en circular tuvo al candidato del Partido Social Liberal como protagonista.
