The rate of Economic perception, the measuring applied by the GfK Adimark company, revealed the drop of trust levels of consumers.

The measure scored 34.3 points in January of 2016, after falling 2.7 units, in December of 2015, according to El Mercurio.

In regards to this situation, Roberto Méndez, president of the institution, explained that the falling occured due to the decrease of the economic expectations in the short run.

In addition, the study shows that the Economic expectation of the country to 12 months, moved back 5.5 points, remaining at 35.7%, scoring the lowest rate since the measuring began.

January came marked because of negative economic facts like the inflation of 2015, which finished the year surpassing, negatively, the estimations of the Central Bank, besides the new cutback of development expectations from the International Monetary Fund, which has placed the rate in 2.1% for 2016.
