President Michelle Bachelet referred this Thursday to the controversy over his alleged resignation, during an official activity in the Region of Maule.

The president denied her alleged submission this Wednesday in a meeting with the foreign correspondents accredited by La Moneda.

“Our government is on which moves on and we will not be distracted in controversies or debates that do not directly benefit Chilean families. We are here to work,” said the head of state.

Bachelet addressed the questions that have arisen due to the institutional crisis affecting politicians regarding the Penta, SQM and Caval cases.

In an official visit in the town of Longavi, Bachelet said that there is nothing to worry about and will continue to work on the campaign commitments.
