US dollar reached $687.5 after copper price hit its lowest in three weeks

The US dollar has registered its higher upward of the last days, winning 5.7 pesos, and reaching the value of 687.5 Chilean pesos.

According to El Mostrador, the upward of the American currency is linked to falling in price of copper, the worst over last weeks, since the red metal dropped 1.47%, reaching US$2.231 per pound, at the London Metal Exchange.

Likewise, the dollar price would be affected during the coming weeks, because the US Federal Reserve will announce modifications to the interest rate.
