ANFP confirmed to Juan Antonio Pizzi as the new coach of “La Roja”

Is official, Juan Antonio Pizzi, of 47-year-old, was confirmed by the National Professional Football Association (ANFP) as the new coach of the Chilean national Football team.

The information was confirmed by the first vice president of the ANFP, Andrés Fazio, at the instalations of the organism.

” We want to communicate that the ANFP has achieved a complete agreement with Juan Antonio Pizzi, to be the new coach of the national team”, Fazio said, and added that will be ” for all the qualifiers process” to the 2018 FIFA Worldcup Russia.

Pizzi had an important career as football player at Rosario Central, Tenerife and Barcelona, and as a coach, his career establishes works in Universidad de San Martin (Peru),Santiago Morning and Universidad Católica (Chile); Colón de Santa Fé, Rosario Central and San Lorenzo de Almagro (Argentina); Valencia (Spain); in addition to his current stay in León( Mexico).
