The Finance Minister, Rodrigo Valdés, confirmed that the Government has made payments of sovereign bonds for 2.594 million dollars to Europe and United States, that would be paid in a period of 10 years.

The bond issue in Europe amounts to 1200 million euros and a rate of 1.966% according to information provided by the Finance Ministery.

Meanwhile, the bonds paid in United States amount to a total of US million with a rate of 3.407%. From the total, US million belong to new funds and the other US million correspond to a repurchase of bonds paid during the past years.

Finally, Valdés, highlighted that the Ministery made an evaluation of the world’s main markets, specially China and other emergent economies, to find the best moment to make the transaction.
