As an annual balance, the archbishop of Santiago, the cardinal Ricardo Ezzati has qualified the sexual assaults commited by the priest Fernando Karadima as “horrifying”

When analyzing different topics of national concern that happened during 2015, Ezzati referred about the sexual attacks against minors perpetrated by the priest who was sanctioned by the Catholic Church.

“What I read about the trial against the priest Karadima is something really abominable and it doesn’t have any justification“, asseverated the cardinal.

In regards to the verdict emitted by The Vatican, Ezzati assured that the sentence has been executed such as the Holy See requested.
