Days before the ending of 2015, the members of the Mining Commission from the Chamber of Deputies are already thinking about the next year and the scene that Codelco should confront.

The president of the Commission, the socialist Luis Lemus, pointed to the efficiency of Codelco to generate more investments and less expenses. In addition, he said that the copper prices will respond to the estimations made by the Ipom.

From the UDI the deputy and also member of the commission, Issa Kort, said that it does exist an agreement for strenghten the mining. But he expected Codelco to be able to hold up the international situation the best possible.

At the same time his peer of the Christian Democratic party, Yasna Provoste, was watching over for the continuation of symbolic projects like the refinery of El Salvador.
