Last wednesday, cardinal Ricardo Ezzati, Archbishop of Santiago, responded before the justice 35 questions presented by the defense of the victims of Fernando karadima, who are demanding a compensation from the church of $450 million pesos.

The plaintiffs, James Hamilton, Juan Carlos Cruz and José Murillo, accused the catholic church of negligence when they heard their denounces against Karadima due to the sexual assaults.

Ezzati confirmed his attendance and arrived to the Court of Law, rejecting his benefit of set this diligence from his house due to his cardinal status.
