Hugh Jackman, protagonist of many super productions like “The Wolverine” and “X-men” expressed his admiration for the Chinchorro culture and his special interest to know about this millenary culture.

The Australian actor confessed in an interview with Canal 13, being a fan of the Chinchorros and because of that, he received from the interviewer a small replica of a Chinchorros mummy and a book of the Culture.

The presents were coordinated by the National Direction of Sernatur. The institution sent the gifts due to the actor conceded a previous interview to the same channel, where Jackman told that his son was a big fan of the Chinchorros and that they also read together about our country.

The Sernatur regional director, Juan Ignacio Concha, expressed their happiness because the campaign to spread the tourist attractive of their region reached Hollywood. “This is one more step to help the Chinchorros mummies to be declared world heritage site by the Unesco”, he stated.
