Peru’s President, Ollanta Humala, stated that he will not refer just yet to Chile’s answer to the second letter of protest sent by Peru as a result of the alleged espionage case within the Navy of that country.

Humala said that he will defend the national interests ‘firmly and patriotically’, since, he said ‘there has been an espionage act’, this was stated by El Comercio a newspaper from Lima.

The President assured that Peru has proof of the espionage, among them it is worth to mention ‘a confession’ done by the Intelligence Director of the Chilean Navy, Oscar Aranda Mora.

‘We cannot get into ambiguities’, declared the President.
