Ya fueron dados a conocer los nombres de los artistas que caminarán por la alfombra verde de los Grammy, el próximo 10 de febrero en la mítica ciudad de las estrellas hollywoodenses, Los Ángeles.
Entre los nominados, se encuentra la cantante franco-chilena, Anita Tijoux, quien manifestó su sorpresa a través de Twitter al ser incluida en una de las categorías para disputar el preciado galardón.
“Oo. Nominada a los Grammys gringos en la categoría mejor disco latino urbano” (sic), escribió Tijoux al saber que su álbum “La Bala” es reconocido como uno de los mejores del rock latino de este año.
Entre los grupos y solistas que consiguieron mayores nominaciones están Frank Ocean, Fun., Kanye West, Jay-Z, The Black Keys y Mumford & Sons, con 6 nominaciones cada uno. La diversidad musical de este puñado de artistas refleja que la 55º edición de los Grammy no tiene tendencias marcadas.
La categoría de mejor disco del año tiene a los anteriormente nombrados, The Black Keys, Fun., Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean e incluye al ex-White Stripes, Jack White, quien logró tres nominaciones con su álbum Blunderbuss.
En tanto, entre los artistas pop considerados está Taylor Swift con su tema“We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” y Kelly Clarkson con “Stronger”, pelearan por la categoría “mejor grabación del año”. Mientras que la canción del año está entre Ed Sheeran, Miguel, Fun., otra vez Kelly Clarkson y la revelación del 2013, Carly Rae Jepsen, con su canción “Call Me Maybe”.
La ceremonia, que tuvo lugar en la ciudad de Nashville, capital del estado de Tennessee (EEUU), estuvo precedida por los norteamericanos LL Cool J y Taylor Swift, además de contar con las actuaciones del grupo Maroon 5 y el cantante de música country, Hunter Hayes, entre otros.
